Working mostly in the U.S. (under exclusive contract with us) for much of his career, his style is unique, unmistakable, and instantly recognizable! It is an Original Oil on Canvas and has a definite sheen or gloss to it due to intact varnish, which enhances the delicate detailing and the Modernist horizontal and vertical lines. A relatively bright horizon illuminates homes and buildings near a small harbor or set of piers. The boats in the foreground are waiting for their owners to take them out at sunrise. This piece has a wonderful presence and will add to the décor of any home. Casar, born in Poland, worked in Paris as well as the United States (New York area).
