All pieces sold "as-is." The boom's power cord can be a little fussy to seat but once it's settled, it has been stable. All three speaker devices play fine on last boot. Connecting to a wireless network might require that you disable newer security features on newer routers. The batteries might not hold their charge for very long. I was a devout Squeezebox user, but when my Duet component died and we moved to a different house, I decided to change to a different media server environment. My hope is that these devices find a good home with another Squeezebox diehard so someone else can enjoy what was arguably one of the best network music systems ever developed.
