Their intention was to extend their connectivity to a security camera that operated on the wifi connectivity of the ENH-500 kit. The item appears to be never used. There are no scratches or indication of weather. I believe the item was never used as designed with all items included in the box. There is a software disc to install the needed software to be able to send information through Wifi or LAN/Ethernet cable. Youtube videos and other sources of set up instructions are available.
