Description: Longfellow’s Poems Antique Book Household Edition Of The Poets Copyright 1891 I will be listing several old books (from Gramma's stash), in the next few days. Antique edition of Longfellow's Poems with illustrations is a great book for any poetry lover. Copyright date of 1891, a true piece of history. Book is in good + condition considering it's age. There are a couple issues with pages and binding- see pictures. Not many but there are a few places where pages and binding are weird. There is an inscription- this was apparently a gift on Christmas Day 1894. I saw at least one page with writing, in light pencil, the word "good", one page with a short paragraph circled in light pencil. There may be more light pencil but when I did a quick flip I didn't see any other writing. Many illustrations. There are no dog ears, tears, rips, folds, creases. No highlighting, no markers. No loose pages. Inside cover and back cover are a dark green- both look good. A few pages show some signs of discoloration due to age, especially around page edges. Book is clean and legible. Collectible perhaps. Spine is tight. Cover has a few small missing pieces at the top oif spine- see pictures and some wear at spine bottom. Cover a bit faded but still looks good.
