Description: This is something I haven't had in my store in a long long time! Quality Premium deer hair pieces made by LadyFlyTyer. I process the deer myself from start to finish. These pieces are not tanned, but they are solid white on the back, completely stripped of meat and fat. These pieces are much bigger than most you will find any fly shops. You will be able to tie loads of flies with these pieces. What you need to know about this particular piece pictured:1. It measures approx. 7" high x 3" wide. The hair is approx, 1.5" in length. Great for caddis tying! You can bleach these if you are so inclined to do so. I bleach them for my tying! It is a natural whitetail deer coloring. These deer were taken last year in PA, around the end of October. I freeze the hides before I flesh them, to kill all the ticks. BEWARE, you may find a dead tick or two in this piece. I can't always guarantee to get them all out of there. But, they are dead! Just pull them out and throw away! As I stated, these are not professionally tanned, but they are super nice in the way I process them. Very clean. I haven't had deer hair in my store in years. :) Tip, spray piece with static guard before putting into hair stacker.
