The smaller 6 inch one has intricate carvings or etchings on the brass metal front and back. It appears to be in actually great condition for its age. The larger 7 inch tooled bag has solid tarnished brass, some of the stitching on the side is coming undone (see photo only 2-3 stitches ) The insides of each are suede leather lined and have an additional 2 pocket in them. There is some green copper oxidation on the brass in places in the smaller one. The purses date back to the early 1900s and are original pieces in excellent condition. The brown leather and Art Nouveau style give off a classic and timeless look. These purses are perfect for women and were made in the United States.
