Description: Two Sony TCM-929 cassette player/recorders. Cosmetics are good with normal wear; handles and battery covers intact, battery contacts free of corrosion. The one with the soft-open door has new belts and had its record-playback switch cleaned, but is still very noisy and doesn't seem to record, at least not reliably. The other one (a snappy door) has original belts and FF gets stuck when it has to pull a lot of tape. It does record but it also generally has a lot of noise/static and playback seemed to fade at times. They may only need a very good opening up and cleaning or they may have issues. No returns.
