Lot 4 Antique French Silk Lamp Shades Boudoir Chandelier Velvet Rare Small

Description: *Please Note~ This is for a lot of 4 small lamp chandelier shades. There is 1 pair that is silk in a blush peach color with a beautiful ruffle along the top, 1 single gorgeous velvet shade that is a burgundy wine color with a small gold trim along the top of the shade and one ivory colored shade that needs to be recovered or repurposed that can be really cute, please understand that this shade is being sold as is due to its condition. These were previously listed with just the 1 pair, I decided to make it a lot and added in the additional 2 shades. Add a touch of vintage French elegance to your home decor with this rare pair of exquisite antique silk lamp shades. These beautiful shades feature ruffle accents along the top of the shade. The color is hard to describe, I would say a blush peach color. All 4 shades are the type you slide onto the bulb and work with small table top lamps, chandeliers or a wall sconce. I see these in a Hollywood Regency boudoir style room, they look very romantic especially when the lights are turned on. Beautiful silk fabric and the most adorable full ruffle along the top edge. These measure 3 1/2" tall, 4" across the bottom and 3" across the top opening. These are all silk, inside and out. The inside silk is a creamy ivory, both are in gorgeous condition with one tiny pin hole on the inside by the bottom rim. Look carefully at the clip on the inside that goes on the bulb, it looks almost like it would go on a small round bulb, measuring 2.5" length x 1" opening. These are so hard to part with but are ready to find a new loving home. The gorgeous velvet single shade measures 4.25" in height x 4.25" in width along the bottom with the top width being 2". This shade has one small tear at the top with a tiny worn area next to it, (please see pictures.) You can also see a lighter area in the velvet where it lays against the shade frame, one area along the bottom wore down to a tiny hole, see pictures. The top edge has a wonderful gold trim, the bottom of the shade has the same trim and is scalloped. The inside lining is beige silk and has several tears, this is due to the age of this lamp. Would look beautiful in a Victorian or French styled room. The 3rd shade is so adorable measuring just 3.24" in height, 3.24" across the bottom and 2.5" across the top. I adore this shade just the way it is. I believe it is silk in a creamy ivory color that is pleated with a very tiny gold trim and a beautiful blush velvet trim along the top and bottom. I believe that the silk has worn thin due to age with several little stress marks and a few areas that have a tiny tear, these are hard to find with the pleats. I personally would never change the fabric as it is right now, to me it tells a story of someone who truly loved this little shade. The most I would do is add a very thin gorgeous scrap piece of lace to the shade. I love it just the way it is. ~Please see all pictures for areas of concern as mentioned above.
