Description: LOT 4 c1944 STANDARD OIL SOHIO HOT AIR BALLOON WEATHER EXPERIMENT PHOTO ALBUM. Offered is a wonderful lot of 4 mid century photos by long time Standard Oil of Ohio staff photographer and Rochester Institute of Technology professor John Trauger, whom founded the biomed program. He passed in 2007 in Canandaigua NY. I obtained these photos with many others from a family member, many are stamped on the back and in good condition, although none of these 4 photos have the photographers stamp. These photos are of an hot air balloon experiment of some kind of instruments, I believe a weather experiment. License plate on car looks like it could have the year 1944, 1 child wearing a Hopalong Cassidy shirt. Light wear, light notations in margins. I will be listing many from his collection, including a large archive of SOHIO photos. Good condition, each measures 11" x 14". Light edge and corner wear. A nice find.
