In 1991, Delta Air Lines merged with Pan Am in Frankfurt, Germany assuming all of Pan Am's transatlantic routes. When Delta re-branded service in November of 1991, each passenger on every new flight was gifted a commemorative 'First Flight Certificate' as an aviation memento. These unframed authentic, original certificates each measure 8.5" by 11" and are in pristine condition. Paper is heavy card-stock cream-color with thin double gold line border. Graphics for each certificate are same, featuring a colorful spinning globe in the center, only difference is the name of the city or city pair of the inaugural flight. Pictures shown are representative of all the certificates - same central image, font, graphics, etc. Unique and rare artifact of airline memorabilia!
