The majority of the books were illustrated by Michael Martchenko. The first book is a hardcover and the rest are paperbacks. The condition of the books ranges from G (good) to NF (near fine or near mint), with my rating scale progressing as follows: G . . G+ . . VG- . . VG . . VG+ . . NF- . . NF A book that is in G condition will have more wear than average, but it will not have any flaws that would make it unreadable or terribly unsightly. The cover may be a little soiled and/or tanned from age and will have moderate or more edge wear. There may be some creasing on the front, back or spine. The spine may be a little faded, slanted and/or a little cocked. Clear tape may have been applied at the top or bottom of the spine to repair a small tear. There may be a name, inscription, price or bookstore stamp inside somewhere. The pages will be tight, but they may be less crisp than when new, may show some age tanning, and may have smudges, stains and corner folds. Two or three pages may have a small edge tear. A book that is in NF condition will be almost like new. The cover may have slight edge wear and the pages may show a little age tanning.
