Description: Lot of 5 Vintage Haviland Bone China Floral crescent moon bone dishes. These elegant little dishes are in excellent shape, except for a chip on 2 of them; however, the scalloped pattern around the edges makes the nicks nearly unnoticable. They are hand-painted so each one varies in the design. See the close-up of the blue "Bachelor Button" floral design. These were made in Limoge, France, by Theodore Haviland, part of the Haviland Family of China producers, one of the best in Europe. One stamp says Haviland, France; the other says Haviland & Co., Limoges. This is most likely made circa 1880. THESE ARE NOT CRESCENT SALAD DISHES - they are smaller than the salads.
