Description: This is a large lot of 59 vintage handmade burlap birds. They are made of colorful burlap applied to some type of stiff paperboard, burlap on each side, an decorated with sequins and glitter. They have an attached thin thread to hang them as ornaments. The thread is a single strand to give the effect of them flying. Charming vintage handmade items. Estimated 60's-70's. I purchased them from a local estate to decorate a tree, but just stored them for many years. Each one is a little different and they come in lovely colors of red, orange, teal, olive green and brown. I didn't check each one to make sure the little thread is still attached but if any have come loose, it would be easy to replace. They are two-sided figurals, decorated on each side. They measure approx 5.5 inches long. . .some may be a little longer or shorter, because each one is a bit different. Lovely old primitive folk art look! buyer to pay shipping. I will package carefully in a box and ship promptly.
