Description: Lovely Handmade 1940’s Vintage Wedding Gown with 79 inch Train. Size Small. Cream satin, tucks on bodice and on long sleeves, fifty covered buttons with loops down the back. Three buttons with loops on each sleeve. The waist dips from under the bust in the front to the natural waist in the back. The taffeta underskirt has three layers of ruffles to lift the train. Exquisite pearl bead designs, all sewn on by hand. The amount of fine handwork on the dress, train, underskirt and cap is truly impressive. The matching beaded cap has a two-tiered 43” veil. Measurements: across shoulders 13.5”, underarm to underarm 18”, sleeve from shoulder 24”; hem of train from neck 79”, front length of dress from shoulder 60”. An elegant, classic gown.
