It's my understanding that this company produced the plates for individuals to paint to their satisfaction. This plate is signed by "Gus." The artist chose a tricolor background of blue, beige/ivory, and rust. On the background he painted clusters of pinecones and pine needles. The decoration is really nicely done. This lovely plate is in really great/excellent antique condition. There are no cracks, chips, or crazing.
