Description: CD The LP, really Laura Pergolizzi, has a tremendous compositional talent that celebrities such as Rihanna, Rita Ora, the Backstreet Boys and Christina Aguilera have already used. But she is also a singer who has been working under her own name since 2001 and has recorded three large albums to date. The fourth will be coming soon, preceded by the 'Death Valley' EP. It features the hit song "Muddy Waters", used in the high-profile Netflix series "Orange Is The New Black" and "Lost On You", which conquers the hearts of Polish listeners. I prepared the 'Death Valley' EP basically the same as the previous album, except that we've now refined the demo songs right away instead of starting over. I worked with great people, incredibly talented, and I didn't want to risk the pieces being recombined for production. We worked out great energy so we managed to keep the songs spontaneous,” says the LP about preparing the mini album. These wonderful collaborators include Mike Del Rio of Powers and Nate Campana, co-author of some compositions. The EP begins with the aforementioned ominous "Muddy Waters", co-written with British Josh Record. The mini album also features the single "Lost On You", which tops the charts in Poland (#1 iTunes, #1 Shazam). "Lost On You" topped the charts in Greece and Portugal, peaked at number three on the Hype Machine's Popular Charts, and sixth on the Spotify Viral Charts in its debut week. The title track of the 'Death Valley' EP is an LP nod to her beloved band The Replacements. There is also a bittersweet song "Strange" in pronunciation. "By nature, I try to be a cheerful person and write songs as if I'm experiencing the same as others. I like that music brings people together. The 'Strange' number basically wrote itself," says Laura. One thing is certain, the LP has worked hard to get to where it is now. Although she has already achieved a lot as a composer and could continue this career successfully, she is ambitious and unfulfilled. She wants to achieve more as a singer, on her own account. Sometimes LP songs write almost the same as on "Death Valley". Laura only skillfully helps them to be born. She controls what comes out of her imagination and thus stories of both painful and joyful experiences.
