Pickguard has two plastic protective films which should be peeled off after installing Solid bracket and steel mounting screws; Never rust with stainless steel material, high corrosion The kit fits most Gibson Standard/Studio/Traditional Les Pauls, due to the wide variety of pickguards in the market, please be sure to verify the drawing when you plan to install the item on other type guitars.
