Description: Recent find from a Richmond, Virginia estate. This listing is for a beautiful 2 1/4" flat cup and saucer set by Coiffe Limoges for Lazarus Straus & Sons. Heavy gold gilt on the cups and saucers. These sets are from the pattern that features a gold center medallion on the various plates (no medallion on the cups and saucers). Price listed is for ONE cup and saucer set; however, we have 12 available. Buy one set or buy up to 12 at the price listed for each. Please make sure to update the quantity field to coincide with the number of sets you wish to purchase. All are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or stains; extremely light to no evidence of use. If these pieces were used, it was with great care and very sparingly. The gold embellishments on the saucers are incredibly strong with just some very slight and faint marks. The cups are equally as brilliant; however, there is some light gold rub, primarily on the raised ruffled areas on the opposite side of the handle. Possible rub from stacking rather than use as the light wear is confined to the same small area on all cups (see last photo). Very insignificant and does not really draw from the grandeur of these sets. Very clean inside and out and, individually or as a set, displays amazingly well.
