Description: Up for bid is this brass button from my father's ROTC uniform when he attended LSU in the 1940's and played center for the LSU Tiger football team. The button measures almost 1" across. The uniform was made of wool and eaten up by moths, so we cut off and saved the buttons and the other insignia and patches. The button is marked on the back "Superior Quality", but no manufacturer is noted. The button is in good vintage condition and there is some minimal tarnish on the reverse, especially on the shank of the button. Add to your collection of Louisiana memorabilia today. Thanks for looking.
