The model year is 2023, and it is a great addition to any collection of electric guitars. NOTE-I bought this guitar brand new 1 year ago from Sweetwater Music. I have played it frequently but only at home, ( no gigging).There are absolutely " 0 " playing issues with this guitar. There are a couple of " Cosmetic " issues. #1- at one point I had installed a set of Waffle Back tuners. So there were 2 screw holes for each tuner, one below the tuner & one above( please refer to pictures ). When I put the original LTD locking tuners back on the guitar, I filled the 12 small holes with wood dowel, filed them back down smooth & painted each dowel. #2- on the back of the guitar, at the 9 volt battery compartment, there is a small " ding " on the right side in the wood, ( very minimal ding ). #3- on the front of the guitar, next to the high E string, there is a small area that is " shiny ". This comes from my fingers rubbing the wood as I played it. That is it. Wonderful guitar, I just put a set of Ernie Ball Regular Slinky strings on it,( 10- 46 ). I haven`t played any on these strings so they will stretch when you tune it up. I just have too many & haven`t been playing this guitar. I will ship this guitar in the original shipping boxes it came in. I will loosen the strings, & remove the 9 volt battery,( it will be included ). Any questions please don`t hesitate to ask.
