Description: This is a LUCIANO PAVAROTTI signed program from his 1983 recital at William Jewell College Fine Arts program in Liberty, Missouri. Richard Harriman started this arts program at the college in 1965. He discovered Pavarotti and went through much effort to bring him to the USA in 1973 to preform his first professional recital at William Jewell college. Over the next decade, Pavarotti became a superstar and performed a total of 4 times at William Jewell College Fine Arts program. Included in this is the official program, signed by Pavarotti, 3 notices that NBC will be filming this, 5 associated press articles and a napkin commemorating 1973-1983 the superstar making decade of the rise of Pavarotti. My family personally attended the 1983 performance at William Jewell and met with Pavarotti who signed this in person and has been kept in perfect condition ever since.
