Description: I've put together some awesome colors of the Pointer 78DD for you here. Tough to get your hands on many of these color patterns. Lucky Craft says they run 7 feet deep. I have found that you have to use lighter line to get that kind of depth, but they really do work exceptionally well with that light line. I lose some to pike in my neck of the woods, but the smallmouth eat these like candy. When Lucky Craft introduced the Pointer series rip-baits, they set the standard that all others are measured. Now with the introduction of the 78DD, Lucky Craft has expanded the Pointer's fish catching range. The Pointer 78DD is designed to suspend 7-8 feet deep, bringing the Pointer's lengendary fish catching action down to greater depths. Special internal brass weights create a low center of gravity that causes the Pointer to wobble and vibrate when the retrieve is stopped. Not only does the Pointer have an incredible suspending action but the retrieve action is something not found in other rip-baits. When ripped or twitched, the pointer has a "Walk the Dog" underwater action that is unique to this bait. The Pointer 78DD delivers this unique fish catching action while probing deeper waters. The POINTER DD has been designed with a very low center of gravity through the use of special brass weights. The low center of balance causes the lure to wobble and vibrate whenever the retrieving motion is stopped.
