Description: A scarce original etching from an edition of 250, by American artist Luigi Lucioni (1900-1988), portraying a classic Vermont landscape featuring an old, massive tree aside a country road with mountains in the distance. Size of plate: 10.5 x 15 inches. Print sheet size 13 x 18 inches, sepia tones. Marked in pen on back of rear mat as "Trees and Mountains" and "1936" it is described as a "rare print." In researching the artist, who emigrated to the US with his family in 1911, I found he is considered an American artist of some distinction.
