Description: Up for sale is one M1 Garand Type 3 Original Springfield Armory Complete Lockbar Rear Sight Pinion. The Type 3 was used from January 1944 to October 1945 approx serial numbers 2500001 - 3890000. One pictured is the one you will receive. This pinion assembly is complete and allows you to easily restore your later rear sight to WW2 configuration. Simply remove your Post War (T105) Pinion and replace with this one keeping your base , cover, and aperture. It can be done without removing the rear sight and is a serious upgrade to your WW2 rifle.This assembly is complete and includes everything needed to convert your Post War (T105) sight to WW2 configuration. Simply remove your pinion and replace it with this one without even removing your sight from the rifle. Parts are original WW2 vintage and include the Pinion, Elevation Cap with screw, Windage knob, detent and spring, and locking bar. Thanks for looking and hopefully bidding on our items.
