The box and tools are old and made in the USA by Madison MGF Co in Muskegon, MI. I do not know the age, but they appear older than me and I am late 1960's vintage-hehe. Case has slight separation from one wall of nails and I am picky to state that, handle is leather and broken and chain where it attaches to bottom part of box is detached. Lots of tools and parts insise and nothing appears broken and was in storage for many years. I do NOT know anything more than I have listed, so if you know more and want to send me a message please do. if you ask me history I can only say this is selling on my account for an old friend of mine. Price is $40 to ship, I will pack this into another box and ship it to the 48 states. Outside of that like a territory, HI/AK/PR it will cost more money to ship as it will not only be heavy like it is, but also dimensional weight due to double boxing. This certainly looks neat and a lot of effort was made into these tools and I can see and feel the quality in them.
