Description: Magnificent Antique Vintage Marion Bronze Bust President Thomas Jefferson. Measures 8 3/4" tall, the base bottom is 3 1/8" wide across; it weighs 2 pounds 8 ounces. Old style bronze clad over plaster sculpture core like the old Armor Bronze bookends. Fine condition with no damage and a nice aged patina, if this had a felt base the felt is has worn off - see the detailed photos. The original bust this is based on is attributed to Jean Antoine Houdon.
