Description: Offered here is an antique Victorian or Edwardian corset cover or camisole with a hand-tatted intricate patterned yoke — that is skillfully worked and charming. The fabric is a beautiful, authentic ecru color that comes with time (not tea stained as some do to try to duplicate this color!!). The cotton camisole is an artful canvas for added embroidered attachments of birds, florals and other authentic, antique, hand created textiles—“Magnolia Pearl”— style but with an AUTHENTIC antique corset cover! This a beautiful, one-of-kind piece of wearable history!! The photos show the front and back of the corset cover. A ribbon at the neck adjusts the size desired for the neckline which can be wide or drawn smaller. The waist can be adjusted with a drawstring that runs through the channel at the waistband if a smaller, more fitted look is desired. This is an authentic antique corset cover that is well over 100 years old, and it is very wearable but handled with respect. It should be hand washed and not wrung, but hung to dry or laid flat, with no bleach but mild soap.
