The F3s were upgraded over the years with their appearance approximating newer F7s. They wore several different paint schemes; Andy painted the one he likes best...a standard EMD off-the shelf three-stripe affair with a newer Pine Tree herald on the nose. This same basic design was also worn by older Boston & Maine and Lehigh Valley Railroad F-units. Here, the 682 is cruising past a small local depot of a generic style with junction trackage and signalling to add in- terest.
