I solved that problem by designing and building these battery holders which just snap into my MakPac boxes. Each holder holds two batteries and you can have two per box if you need. They continue holding the batteries with the lid open and work well with stacked boxes. I have been using these for about a year now and they are very robust. Rolling around my stack of boxes, loading in and out of the car, and carrying individual boxes with these on them has been great. I even gave a couple to one of my co-workers and they love them. Of course since the attachment point on the box I use for these was meant for a strap, I avoid whacking them on doors etc as I am sure that much force would break the box, break the adapter, or both. Why are these so great? Simple snap into place on your boxes. Batteries latch into the holder to prevent falling out when opening lid. Can be removed if needed. Made from a tough composite plastic to be extremely durable. Can be used on either side of a box, stacked or single. Made in the USA from USA sourced materials.
