MANDOLIN PICKGUARD SET This is a very nice quality replacement guard and bracket for your Gibson style A or F mandolin...at a great price!! Comes with everything you see: nickel bracket with block, 2 mounting screws, and 3 ply guard with protective plastic still on it. Pickguard measures 5 and 1/8 across the straight edge. Guard can be trimmed for fit or for a pickup. Comes with a precision Gibson-style mounting block. To mount the block to the pickguard: Recommended adhesives are Bondit, Gorilla Glue, Locktite, and Polyzap. Nickel archtop bracket is compatible with traditional A and F type mandolins. Very economical way to get a guard back on your mando! Last pic above shows a drawing giving you measurements. Bracket Size ...... 2.25 inch rod; 1 inch side bracket. The fit at the shoulder will be determined by the placement of the hole in your guitar's rim.....I have found it to be a workable fit on the pre-drilled Gibson rim hole although there is sometimes a gap between the rim and shoulder.
