Marcello Fantoni (1915-2011) was a Florentine artist who specialized in ceramics. He studied at the Art Institute in Florence, where Libero Andreotti and Bruno Innocenti were his sculpting professors and Gianni Vagnetti was his figurative art professor. Fantoni began to work as a ceramist in 1934, opening his factory in 1936. Dimensions: 10”h x 5.5”w x 3.5”d. In very good vintage condition.
