This book was published in 1985, the same year Andre de Dienes died. I'm assuming this was released after his death. Not sure if that was his dying wish or not. I've had this book in my collection for maybe over 5 or so years. I don't remember why I bought it but I must've gotten a good deal for it. I think I bought it because at the time, these were selling a pretty decent profit. I haven't been trying to sell it much due to the size of it. It's a pretty hefty book measuring in at around 12.5 x 10. Most of the photos are of Marilyn when she was still Norma Jean Baker. The tail end of the book is of Marilyn when she was a mega star. There are more pictures than words. All of the pages are in black and white. The dust jacket has to remain on the cover otherwise the book will have no artwork. I've looked through this book maybe 10 times over a course of 5 or so years. It's just been sitting in my collection. I'm willing to part with it now. I didn't see any writing inside of the book. It's definitely a table read. All photo items are shipped in between 2 pieces of cardboard to assure there is no bending. Buy with confidence!
