Description: Historical One page ALS in untranslated German written during the war in 1942 and signed at the conclusion in fountain pen ink in full by Markus Zeidler. A hole on the fourth line of his writing and rough edges, otherwise very nice. Signed again by him on the back. Luftwaffe Major 'Markus Zeidler' was awarded with the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross on 9 May 1942 as commander of the 'Kampfgruppe z.B.V. 600', the Knight's Cross was awarded to him for the successes of his Kampfgruppe z.B.V. 600 in its aerial supply flights to the Heeresgruppe Mitte and the troops in the Demyansk pocket during the winter of 1941-1942.
