Martin Konopacki (1891-1946) Born in 1891, in the German town of Liegnitz, today Legnica, Polish territory. His mother was Danish and his father was a German banker of Polish origin. Konopacki studied in Flensborg and at the Art academy in Munich. After WW1, he moved to Slettestrand in Denmark where he built a house with a studio. He exhibited several times at the Royal Charlottenborg show in Copenhagen and did landscapes from North Jutland and Fano island. After WW2, his home and belongings were confiscated by the Danish government as he retained his German citizenship, even though he had never defended the German cause. This prompted him to leave for South America, where he died from an illness in Bogotá, Colombia in 1946. Shipping fees: United States/ Canada: 45 dollars. ( delivery time: About 3 - 5 working days.)
