I would think this signature dates from not long before his passing and the recipient Bob Symonds was a keen Boxing historian who was active in many Ex-Boxer Association events etc. Small area of residue to the reverse side suggests this was in an album or scrapbook or similar at one stage but overall very good condition as per the scans.
