Mary Healy 1940s Canadian Rhodes Weight Machine Trading Card

Description: ABOUT THIS CARD: Film star Mary Healy pictured on a small but thick vintage Canadian Rhodes weight machine or vending machine card issued out of Canada in the 1940s. Card measures approximately 1-1/8" X 2-1/8 inches on thick (appx. 1/32nd of an inch) board. Back of card is unused with fortune at bottom and line on top reading "Can. Rhodes Mfg. Co. Printed in Can. Pat. No. 262,013." The Canadian Rhodes set is listed on the Movie Card Website as a note on the "Peerless Cloudy (Studio in Script) Set" (1937-41) page. This card was issued in Canada probably shortly after that. This sale is for the single card in the title and pictured above. GRADING - CONDITION: Grades NM or 8/10 or better; sharp with no creasing, crisp and clean, looks like it just came out of a vending box (which it likely did). Only defects are in the factory printing, which is never great with this set, so be sure to have a look at the scan. Scans show both sides of actual card for sale.
