Description: this is a circa 1896 Mason and Hamlin reed organ, roll top model. The cabinet is decent. It has the finished back which is often missing. The back holds the original reed puller. The finished top is present as well. It never had an ornamation top crown. The vox humana needs work but does engage well. I have been putting several hours into cleaning the reeds and this organ only becomes more incredible as far as a musical instrument. The bellows hold air quite well and the organ itself has quite a great tone. There are fewer broken ivories as I have found many of the missing pieces under all the below keyboard dust and have been doing repair. This is sold as is. Pick up only. The first and last pictures are of the Mason and Hamlin keyboard with the restored pieces. This is a great organ. Buy now would include an AB Chase six octave organ which is quite original but needs restoration. It was in the same place for a century. I think it would be playable with a little bellow repair. Photos to follow. Extra, I would also include a mason and hamlin cabinet organ with restored bellows. I have a recording of myself playing the cabinet organ on you tube at classicalmaster36. Just type in toy piano toy chimes and my recordings including the cabinet organ will come up. Buy now has lots of extras.
