Master Studio Camera & Stand - Fully Restored & Fully Functional - Beautiful! This beautiful camera and stand is ready for a new home. When I received the camera and stand they were very tired looking and in need of some repairs. The camera and stand were completely dis-assembled, stripped of their remaining finish and repaired as needed. All the hardware on the camera was originally painted brown it was repainted dark walnut. This was done because there was considerable pain loss and also some corrosion. The metal parts of the stand were badly rusted and needed to be sandblasted and powder coated dark walnut. The color of stain that I used was custom mixed to duplicate what was used on the Ansco and Agfa cameras and stands. All the wood was finished with three coats of a catalyzed moisture resistant cabinet lacquer. The bellows were in poor condition and were replaced. Some modifications were done from what this would have originally looked like. Since a burgundy colored material was used to make the bellows the same color was used for the felt top on the camera platform. The camera originally had a sliding carriage that was modified to be a film back adapter. The 5 x 7 and 8 x 10 film backs are original Century backs. The lens pictured is a Voigtlander Universal Heliar 360mm f4.5 mounted on the correct size Packard Shutter. The lens and shutter are included.
