Description: "Cool Cat"byMatt Rinard Hand Pulled 13 Color Plate Lithograph on Rives BFK Paper Limited Edition 124/350 2002 Hand Signed by the ArtistUnframedImage Size: 8" x 18" Excellent Condition $85.00 Artist Matt Rinard (1964) attended N.O.C.C.A. (New Orleans Center for Creative Arts), later graduating from Florida State University with a degree in graphic design. He launched Spilled Inc. in 1988 and eventually was commissioned to create an exclusive clothing line for Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdale’s. In addition to a successful greeting card line available throughout North America, Japan and Europe. Rinard was also selected by the Gronou Jazz Festival in Germany to be their official artist. A New Orleans longtime local, Rinard was the official artist for the French Quarter Festival for six straight years 1991 to 1997. The lithograph was created on a rare antique Marinoni Voirin French press that dates back to the 1800's. It provides highly pigmented inks that will resist fading and preserve the integrity of the print for more than a lifetime. This process is the most elaborate, costly and effective way to reproduce art while maintaining the brilliance and accuracy of the original creation.
