With these, it's so tempting to buy untested equipment because it's considerably cheaper! However, take it from someone in the know after 25 years of messing with these. Untested=broken as 95% of these need considerable work. Controllers are almost always non functional on these and are wired from the inside. It's very hard to find them working and good luck getting a working replacement. Be highly skeptical when you see a "tested bundle" with two working controllers. You get TWO FULLY WORKING controllers with this after a whole lot of work and time. Great group of games gets you started. Every one of these games were cleaned and tested to work. Astrosmash is still actually factory sealed so nice little nostalgic bonus there getting to open and play a brand new game! Set shows normal 45 year old system use in spots. Looks just fine actually! YES, you will have to reinsert and reset games when inserting from time to time, power on and off etc. 45 year old tech here. I have opened the system and shored up many typical areas of concern that they all develop. This includes power switch, cartridge slot, RF signal, and color hue. It's built to last! Ready to play now. READ THIS and please refer back before assuming the system does not work. The console will play on modern televisions via channel 4 TV input, but be sure you have the coaxial port pictured on your TV before purchasing. Required adapter is included in the set. Just simply screw on the adapter, run the cord from the system output to the adapter, switch to that antenna input (polar bear in a snowstorm) then go to channel 4.
