Artist: Maureen Ecke Signed: Maureen De St. Croix Signed on backside stretcher bars Medium: mixed medium on canvas Measures: 30” x 40” Unframed Dates: exact age is unknown-looks to be late 70 to 80’s Condition: Painting could use some touch up and or restoration. There are areas with discoloration, fading, loss, paint chips, paint flecks, rubbing, glossy oily stains/spots (does not appear to be varnish, not sure what it is-appears in a few areas). Some scuff marks, scratches, spots and stains, abrasions to margins, sides and corners of painting from hanging, some paint loss, back of canvas shows heavy foxing and or mildew spots. Dust and debris pockets between stretcher bars. Sides of painting have stains, paint drips, paint spots, foxing, scuffing, rubbing and wear. Painting is worthy of hanging in current condition but does need some restoration. Painting is sold as is, in current condition shown in images. Painting is unframed-This is a thick canvas intentionally unframed by artist to be hung as shown.
