Description: Book is undated; refers to 1876 Beadle and Adams publication but this is the Federal Book Company and is circa 1940 I think. Set in 17th century England, with the plague as a backdrop, I am told that it's a love story with many twists and turns--mysteries, separated triplets, royalty, and more. Covers are quite stained, particularly rear cover; cracked front hinge; all holding together solidly. Pages appear clean and good. Some staining on inside rear cover/last endpaper. Overall good condition with the cover soiling being its biggest flaw. Note: I try to identify any flaws in books as much as possible. Sometimes a photo will catch something that I hadn't noticed when making the listing--so it's good practice to look at the photographs as well as to read the listing.
