Description: Maya Eventov uses a very colorful palette for her paintings. This painting of the Tuscan Countryside is executed in her typical heavy impasto style which immediately draws the viewer into the scene. It has almost a 3-D quality due to the depth of the impasto. The painting is in excellent pre-owned condition. The gold frame has a little color change on the bottom part of the frame. Not obvious but I include it for the sake of completion. Eventov paintings are highly sought after and very collectible. This painting would add depth and color to any art collection or any room. The dimensions of the painting is 12" x 12" and with the frame the dimensions are 16"x16".Maya Eventov grew up in Leningrad, in the former Soviet Union. St. Petersburg, as it is now known, is a city fabled for its beauty and culture. At a young age Eventov was exposed to some of the finest art in St. Petersburg. Eventov was accepted into the prestigious High School #190, which is affiliated with the St. Petersburg State Academy of Industrial and Applied Arts. As a student, she participated in the various student exhibitions and at the age of 18 her abstract composition was accepted to the Academy’s museum. Eventov graduated in 1987 and in the early 1990s Maya immigrated to Canada. I describe all my listed items as thoroughly as possible, but please email me with any questions before bidding.
