French Chandelier 5-Branch in Gold Metal & Lucite with Glass Cone Shades

Description: Bienvenue à UpStaged Vintage This listing includes FREE shipping from France to most US, UK and European addresses This truly wonderful French Mid Century Modern light fixture has 5 glass cone shades for each of its 5 brass arms. The shades are clear glass with a brutalist relief pattern. The central gold coloured downrod joins the arched brass arms and is topped with a matching gold dome ceiling cup to cover the ceiling cup and wiring. Between each of the shades is a curved gold wire with a clear lucite arrow tip on each point and there's a lucite finial on the bottom. A marvelous gift for anyone with MCM style décor, and an ideal prop for a period production. A really wonderful decorators piece, it is absolutely magical how a statement light fitting like this can transform the whole look of a room. In VERY GOOD vintage condition; with only minor signs of age, including some pitting to the metal surfaces. There are no chips or cracks to the glass shades. As you can see it is currently in working order. You will need either a professional electrician or a confident DIYer to fix this in your desired location, and it will be up to them to get it working there. If you have any concerns about safety you should get it professionally tested after installation too. It is designed to be used with a European 220/240 volt domestic power circuit, so if you are from a country with 120 volt mains (like USA for example) it might need adapting.
