Custom SLR Arm Sling Instructions: Step 1: Lay the arm sling flat on a table. The Custom SLR arm sling is designed to be used on either arm. If you will be using the arm sling on your right arm, the arm pouch opening should be pointing to your left. If you will be using the arm sling on your left arm, the arm pouch opening should be pointing to your right. Step 2: Take the velcro tab attached to the pouch and thread it through the plastic buckle at the end of the strap. Fold the velcro tab closed and press firmly to secure it. Step 3: Using your non-injured arm, bring the strap over your head and place it on the shoulder opposite to your injury. Next, carefully place your injured arm into the pouch. To support your hand, slip your thumb through the elastic loop that is closest to your torso. Step 4: Adjust the length of the strap by pulling on the cloth tab at the front or tightening the buckle at the back. Please consult with your physician regarding proper fitting of the arm sling.
