The Fillmore leans toward blackface-style tones, but the three overdrive modes can be sculpted for clean to fully saturated sounds. You won't be able to go full metal, but hard rock is right up its alley. After all, it's named after the historic, bi-coastal venue that brought bands like Black Sabbath and The Who to America. Maxing out at 23 watts, the Fillmore is great club amp that works well in the studio, too. At 35 lb., it's also not too heavy to tote back and forth.
