Item ReviewsWhen I got my metal hanging basket the weather outside...20 Apr 20When I got my metal hanging basket the weather outside was bad it rained for about a week But that didn't stop my kids form building it for me , I saw this on the Home Depot website for already $20.00 less then Amzon and about $45 less on another site, So I put artifical flowers and a few porcelian bird's I got from Disneyland and put them in it , I also wraped some Christmas lights around the pole this has gotten so many likes from the family I plan on getting another one for Mothers Day. It's beautiful item.Cons: the assembly took longer than expected and was complicated; also, the coco liners are oh so very thin!I'm glad I purchased it.3 Sep 12It is expensive based on what it is, 4 segmented rods with metal hooks to hang baskets but I'm still glad I purchased it. It fits the need I had to have something to use to hang bird feeders and planters on my deck. I used the stabilizing rods by poking them through the deck boards and it works pretty well. Service was excellent, arrived quickly and with all the pieces in the box ready to install. It is somewhat difficult to put together just because it's hard for one person to hold the 4 segmented rods together and get the screws in the holes and tighten it up. But it's very doable.It is a great product...my son put this in no time.10 Apr 12My son put this together in no time but said the instructions need improvement and the print to be larger. He also added a fourth bolt to better support the legs further down towards the bottom to keep them from spreading. I love the planter and I am considering purchasing another. This has 4 sturdy tubular metal legs that bolt together for greater stability and hooks to push into the ground. The product description is not clear on this. The instructions for putting it together are TERRIBLE. After spending 3 hours trying to do it myself, I ended up taking it to my local Home Depot and they were nice enough to put it together for me...and would not let me pay them!
