According to the Meteoritical Bulletin Database, Kolang is 1 of 25 officially classified CM 1/2 meteorites, with 19 being from Antarctica and unavailable to collectors. This wedge-shaped fragment appears flat in the picture due to photo-stacking software used to show the detail on two angled sides and a center top ridge.
