Description: Metronome All StarsSide 1 - Royal FlushMetronome All Star BandSide 2 - I Got RhythmMetronome All Star Leaders Columbia 36499This release - 1942 shellac Metronome Magazine had an annual poll during 1939-1961 that picked who their readers considered the top jazz instrumentalists on each instrument for the year. In some of those years Metronome actually gathered the All-stars together and recorded them! This record looks very well cared for but has a couple of issues. Side A has 1 scratch almost 2" long and the B side has a couple of needle drops that should play thru but which will result in surface noise that will be noticeable. This record comes a vintage "Columbia" 10" paper sleeve, as pictured.
