Description: Mexican folk art pottery from San Agustin Oapan, Tepecoacuilco de Trujano, Guerrero. Large 14.50 inch tall hand built and decorated clay woman, mujer, lady, reina figure, sculpture, statue. Earthenware ceramic body. Natural clay slips used to decorate exterior surfaces. Unmarked, unsigned, no labels or tags. Purchased by us from the artist in Mexico City. In VG+ vintage condition with only very faint signs of wear. Measures approximately 14.50 inches tall, and 5.50 inches in diameter at the base. Weighs approximately 3.50 lbs. Will weigh between 5 and 6 lbs packaged. More pics upon request.
